How it works
Your browser asks Google's PageSpeed Insights API to test the page. Google returns two things: real-visitor data from Chrome over the last 28 days (the Core Web Vitals it uses for ranking) and a lab test on a simulated phone.
From that, we rank the fixes by what usually costs a Shopify store the most: third-party apps and tags, the main image, image and video weight, blocking files and fonts. The URL you type goes straight to Google; we don't store it.
